The Objective:

As a new-age production house consistently churning out popular and memorable content, Applause Entertainment wanted its social media presence to be just as talked about as its shows, in terms of both show launches, as well as day-to-day content. While doing so, they wanted to grow their following and inform new viewers about their show launches.

The Idea:

The content we watch is more than just a one-time viewing experience. Even after we’re done watching it, we’re thinking about it, we’re talking about it, we’re quoting it, and more. So we wanted to make the Applause social page a place where more such conversations, musings, and fun banter could come to life. This is why, for day-to-day content, we used our content as the conversational source material. And every time a new show or film launch would come about, we would craft a distinct campaign for it that stemmed from the very story itself.

The Execution:

Our brief was rather brief – leverage our content and keep it interesting. So that’s exactly what we did. We scoured our shows for moments, dialogues and visuals, and placed them innovatively in memes, video compilations, listicles, trending formats, topicals, and more. For show launches, innovation was always the focus. We created content that would immediately catch one’s eye while giving away just the right amount of information to pique their interest and follow our show.
